After logging in, you will be taken one of two screens, where you can configure a unit with up to six (6) tube bundles.  Each bundle can be designed for Water/Ethylene Glycol, Natural Gas, Air, or Lube Oil.  If this is an RFQ for a duplicate unit, you will see a screen such as the one to the right.

If this is an RFQ for a new unit where you must send the design conditions to the air cooler manufacturers, you will see a "number of conditions" selection next to each section  Such as the following image:

You may input up to six separate conditions for each tube bundle. Click on the blue "Next" button at screen. to move to the next screen.

You will be taken to a screen titled "Create Request for Quote" for either a duplicate unit, or based on design conditions.

Here you enter all the necessary data an air cooler manufacturer needs to provide you a price and delivery for a duplicate unit to one you have already purchased.  From the specification sheet you received when the original unit was purchased, read the model number and manufacturer from the sheet and enter it into the form.

Next, you will enter a "target price" for the purchase.  Since duplicate or "stock" units are the cheapest units for an air cooler manufacturer to build, you will want to put a target price that is of the range of 12% less than the original was purchased, provided that purchase was within the last 12 months. This gives new vendors a target in win your business as well as the existing vendor a target to sharpen their pencil, realizing they don't have any engineering to do, as well as reduced sales commissions.

Next, if it is a duplicate unit, you will enter the number of tubes, number of rows, number of passes, tube O.D., tube BWG, and extended surface for each tube bundles.  All these data points can be found on the specification sheet that was provided with the original unit.

If you are requesting a quote for a unit, based on design conditions that the air cooler manufacturer will "rate", you will enter all the necessary data in a form similar to the following:

Finally, it is time to select the tube bundle specifications.  This data includes all the necessary data, such as nozzle sizes, design pressures, and accessories, the air cooler manufacturer needs to finish the quote.

Again, all this data is included on the specification sheet from the original unit and includes the data as shown in the image to the right.  Upon completion, of the request for quote, the document will be automatically assigned a unique reference number and stored in your own private, secure file.
